The UN in the Pacific commits to Pacific UNiTE Campaign

UNICEF Pacific Representative Dr Isiye Ndombi today put pen to paper and signed a joint UN poster committing to UNiTE to end Violence Against Women and Girls. Several other Pacific heads of agencies, including the UN Resident Coordinators in Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Samoa, have also signed the poster.

It is expected that all heads of UN agencies in the Pacific will sign the poster. When complete with all signatures the poster will be reproduced and shared widely with UN agencies and partners in the Pacific, communicating the full commitment of the UN agencies in the Pacific region to UNiTE.
