OPPF is building a Battered Women’s Centre in the eastern province of Kenya.

The Battered Women’s Centre is a holistic approach responding to women and children exposed to violence, where immediate physical, practical and psychological needs will be met, and where empowerment, education, skills training and engagement are equally important components of the rehabilitation process.

Women and children will be provided the tools, support and time needed to recover, and to create a better future for themselves, their families and communities.
