CHANGE NOW – Say NO to Violence Against Women is an awareness and fundraising initiative jointly launched by UN WOMEN East and Southeast Asia and Thai Airways International Public Company Limited., supported by Ministry of Justice Thailand.

From January 2010, THAI has been airing a promotional video featuring a message from Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, UN WOMEN Goodwill Ambassador for Thailand, onboard all domestic and international flights – a total of 250 flights a day to raise awareness on the issue of violence against women.The funds collected will support UN WOMEN’s projects and programmes on ending discrimination and violence against women.

Here is how you can take action and say NO!

Just ask your flight attendant for a Change NOW envelope, drop your unused currency into it and return the sealed envelope to any member of the Thai Airways flight crew. Another important CHANGE you can make is within yourself, by refraining from committing any act of violence against women and speaking up against violence.It is the fundamental right of every woman and girl to live a life free of violence.
