WUTMI along with Office of the Auditor General partnered to create awareness on corruption. For International Anti-Corruption Day, high schools all over Majuro were notified of an essay contest. Students had to submit a two page single spaced essay on their thoughts on corruption. What it means to them, how it affects them and what they can do to prevent it. Three winners were picked out of the 28 essays that were submitted. First place winner was awarded $300, second place $200 and third place $150.
