The Sahil referral unit Sukkur organized a Press briefing and a Candlelit Vigil with support of White Ribbon Campaign Pakistan on 24th November, 2009 at Press Club Sukkur, under the title “Nationwide White Ribbon Day Celebrations” to celebrate 25th November, International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women.

There were more than 150 participants including Police officers, Government officers, students, women, teachers, parents, journalists, media & NGO representatives, lawyers, social, human rights and community representatives actively participated in the event.
