Honoring our International Day to Eliminate Violence against Women, we shall MARCH and take a stand. Our march will begin at the old weather station and end at CMI. On November 26, Ambassador Armbruster and other U.S. Embassy Majuro staff took part in the March to Take a Standwalkathon sponsored by Women United Together Marshall Islands (WUTMI) and the College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) during the International Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women. The march was part of the 16 Days of Activism Program WUTMI has organized to raise awareness on gender violence issues in the RMI. More than a couple hundred people from various entities of RMI government, Diplomatic Corps, NGOs, school, and churches on Majuro participated in the event.
