The Welsh Assembly Government has launched this campaign to challenge society's acceptance of every day sexist attitudes. Acceptance of the behaviours portrayed in the video result in their normalisation in society. They ask us all to challenge these actions whenever and wherever we see them. After all, if these attitudes are ok, then the resultant behaviours are ok, right? And if those behaviours are acceptable then what's the harm in pushing them a bit further right?

Ultimately, the campaign asks us all to consider where harmless ends and abusive begins, and places each of these seemingly 'harmless' sexist behaviours on a continuum of harm. If these are the thin end of the wedge, then violence against women is at the other end of the same spectrum.
