Every day children, often young, are thrown into the street and left to their miserable fate. They are often their own parents who drove them from home by accusing them of witchcraft.

Those children who haunt the streets of Kinshasa, and the cities of other provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, undergo an ordeal that must find solution.

These innocent children (girls and boys) are victims of the mentality of a segment of the Congolese population that is trapped in his credulity. A credulity which is exploited by many "men of God, pastors and other prophets, belonging to various obscure churches and congregations that take advantage of this situation.

In fact, these "pastors" convince families who suffer a misfortune or who are in difficulty (personal, material etc..) That is due to the evil influence of a family member (often a child, boy or daughter.)

The pastor then asked the amount of money to "exorcise" the child. But the precarious lives of families, the solution is often to get rid of the "child-sorcerer" by throwing him to the street!

We call on all good conscience, to sign a Petiton denouncing this terrible situation. This petition will be forwarded to the Congolese authorities and international humanitarian organizations to help find a solution to this suffering.
