Girls in every country across the world are being subjected to many forms of violence – this is wrong and must stop.
Girls have the right to live free from violence and the fear of violence. They need to be aware of their rights – and find the voice to create a global movement to end violence.
Building from a whisper to a shout, we need to talk, join together and inspire action around the world.
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is running a 'Stop the violence. Speak out for girls' rights' campaign. We’re building a global movement of people who believe that violence against girls is an injustice which has carried on for too long and want to take action to stop it. We’re going to speak out for girls’ rights and we’re asking you to join the conversation.
What you can do
Add your voice so we can start the conversation on an issue we have been silent on for too long. It’s so simple. In just a few clicks you will have added your voice to our campaign counter and taken action to transform lives. Start here.

As WAGGGS Centenary Celebration Day approaches on 10 April, we need to collect as many voices as possible to reach our Stop the Violence target of 10,000 voices by 10 April.
In 2010 we planted the seeds of change. In 2011 we saw our celebrations grow into community action projects.
In 2012 we want to Share – So share your voice as part of our centenary theme of “100 years of changing lives”
Share your voice and help stop the violence against girls and women!
Wherever you live, you can help us to make a difference by sharing your voice, by speaking out against violence. Please add your voice to Stop the Violence. We are 10 million active Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world, so please forward this message to all your networks and encourage them to Share their voices too. You can spread the message even further by liking the campaign page on Facebook, or following the campaign on Twitter. Add the voice counter link to your webpage or write an article about it for your local paper.
