Support the Looking In Speaking Out launch in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
The Looking In Speaking Out (www.lookinginspeakingout.com) web site is being launched on the 19th of November, 2009. This is a project that will link women from Nepal and women from Manitoba, many of whom are dealing with violence in their lives.
The web site will launch films, photos and videos scripted and directed by women and girls in Canada and Nepal, many dealing with imprisonment, sex trafficking, sex trade, violence, drug addiction, poverty, self harm and suicide.
All are welcome to attend this launch, and to participate on the web site.

We urge everyone to go to the Looking In Speaking Out web site - http://lookinginspeakingout.com/. It is amazing - it shows that all over the world, issues are the same for women. Violence is a very real part of women's lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. And it is a very real part of women's lives in Nepal. Watch the videos that are on the web site - Especially Butterflies - all of them - showing the strength of women, and the sadness. You can send a message on a beautiful lotus flower - I hope you do.
