The Georgia Chapter of the US Committee for UN WOMEN (UN WOMEN-USNC) will walk in beautiful Piedmont Park on Saturday, June 5, to raise funds and awareness for the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women. We will also be asking participants and passersby to sign postcards asking Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss to support the International Violence Against Women Act (I-VAWA), which was introduced in the House and the Senate this February.  For more information or other UN WOMEN-USNC walks across the US, visit www.unwomen-usnc.org/georgiawalk.
