Awareness Forum on Equity, Human Rights, Gender Health and Social Issues

During these 3 days the Ministry of Health of Vanuatu organised with the support of WHO a forum for government workers and other interested parties to come together and discuss issues of gender and equality especially as they pertained to health.

March against Violence Against Women

In Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu the Vanuatu Women's Centre and other interested groups such as UNIFEM Vanuatu and the Department for Women's Affairs got together on the 25th November to march through the city to highlight the importance on focussing on this issue which is a big problem in Vanuatu.
