Organization Description:
We are a local group of volunteers and belong to the Germany-wide non-profit, non-governmental women's human rights organisation TERRE DES FEMMES which has offices in Berlin and Tübingen. It is a lobby and PR group which campaigns for women's rights on issues such as combatting domestic violence, female genital mutilation, crimes in the name of honour, forced prostitution, trafficking in women. It produces booklets and teaching materials and helps individuals fleeing from forced marriages, domestic violence, honour killings etc. It also networks with other organisations internationally.
