National Organisation For Women in Sport Physical Activity and Recreation
NOWSPAR is a Zambian organization established in 2006 to advance women and girls' right to sport. We promote the equal engagement and empowerment through sport, physical activity and recreation of women and girls. NOWSPAR has a membership including national sports associations, nongovernmental organizations, schools, churches, CBOs and individuals. NOWSPAR operates under the theme ‘Every Body Matters’ our programmes are targeted at bettering the lives of women, youth and children through engagement in sport and recreation. Our activities are advocacy, research, capacity development, networking and life skills education.
